Year 6 perform at Southwark Leavers' Service

This year, Year 6 not only attended the annual Leavers' Service at Southwark Cathedral, but performed a fantastic dance routine during the service to celebrate the children's time at primary school and mark the step onwards to secondary education. The service was attended by pupils and staff from Church of England school from across Southwark diocese as well as the Bishop and other clergy. St Matthew's children received many compliments for their excellent dance skills and confident performance.

Whilst the children were up in London, they also took the opportunity to walk along the bank of the Thames, taking in the sights, including the Globe Theatre, Tower Bridge, St Paul's Cathedral and the Tate Modern.
