Year 3 Visit Fishbourne Roman Palace

Year 3 had a wonderful visit to Fishbourne Roman Palace taking part in a Roman Workshop and exploring life as a Roman. In History the children have been learning how the Romans conquered Britain and how their life compares to ours today. The visit enabled them to apply their current knowledge and bring their learning to life. They challenged themselves by using secondary sources to find out about life in the past and used questioning to find out more. Everyone had a fantastic day, we were extremely proud of their impeccable behaviour and the eagerness to continue their learning outside the classroom.
