Year 2 visit the British Wildlife Centre

On February 2nd, Year 2 paid a visit to the British Wildlife Centre to coincide with their science learning about living things and their habitats.

They met and learnt some fascinating facts about a range of U.K. wildlife, many of them rarely seen in the wild. They walked among red squirrels, spotted red deer, came up close to Scottish wildcats and snuck up on a pair of sleeping badgers in their sett.

Back at school, Year 2 reflected on all that they had learnt and produced their own information leaflets to persuade others to visit the centre.
