Sun Class visit to the Tate Modern

Sun Class children had a wonderful day travelling by train to London Bridge and taking  in some famous London sights on the walk to the Tate Modern. They saw The Shard, Southwark Cathedral, The Globe Theatre, St Paul's Cathedral across the River Thames and, in the distance, The London Eye and Tower Bridge.

In the art gallery the children were excited to see examples of work by Piet Mondrian, who they are studying in class and other interesting sculptures and artwork. They also created their own amazing artwork based on some of the exhibits.

The children received compliments from other visitors to the Tate Modern, praising the boys' excellent behaviour and manners along with their obvious interest, knowledge and appreciation of the artwork displayed in the gallery.
