Stories of Resilience - Rubina Bhatti

Often at school the children will hear the term 'resilience'; learning activities are frequently planned to support our pupils in developing this essential learning skill and attitude.

Recently however, we have heard about the inspiring story from one of our parents, Rubina Bhatti who has documented her story of resilience as an adult learner.

The UK’s RaPAL (Research and Practice in Adult Literacies) has teamed up with Australia’s ACAL (the Australian Council for Adult Literacy), to work on a joint publication of adult literacies learners’ stories, with support from each country's Adult Learners Weeks.

Rubina's story has already been published on the website, and we are very proud to be able to share it with our school community.
