St Matthew's School Nativity Play 2017

Rehearsals are going very well for our Nativity Play, retelling the story in words and music, dance and drama, of the first Christmas and the birth of Jesus Christ in Bethlehem. Children in Year 2 are playing the lead roles of Mary and Joseph, ably supported by a strong cast of shepherds and sheep, wise men and camels, angels and stars, not forgetting evil King Herod and the donkey, from Years 1 and 2 and Reception Class.

Thank you to teachers and parents who have helped us learn our words and made costumes, scenery and props. Thank you to Father Andrew and our friends at St Matthew's Church where we will perform our Nativity Play to a packed audience of family and friends.
