Sports Day Success

All the pupils across the school took part in sports day at various points over the last two days. Kicking off with the Nursery pupils, pupils took part in a range of non-competitive activities on-the school field on Monday. Parents and staff enjoyed watching pupils take their first steps into the world of sport and keeping active.

Tuesday saw the Year 3, 4, 5 and 6 Sports Day in the morning with a range of non-competetive activities followed by events on the track. Parents and staff were impressed with the attitudes of all the pupils in the morning, with all pupils exhibiting the Olympic values of fairness, sportsmanship and sportswomanship.

The afternoon saw the Infants Sports Day, which again saw a fantastic parent turnout. Again, everyone was impressed by the attitudes of the young sportsmen and women, who thoroughly enjoyed their day.

Many thanks must go to the great support shown by all the parents for all the pupils competing in this event. Thanks must also go to all those volunteers and helpers that helped support Sports Day: this event could not have run so smoothly without your help.
