School stays open in the snow

Well done to everyone who braved this week’s  snowy conditions to ensure the children attended school and didn’t miss their lessons and learning. It was great to see the children dressed appropriately for the cold weather with boots, coats and a variety of warm and stylish hats and gloves! The children had  great fun on the field at playtimes, building snowmen, playing snowballs and making snow angels!

A special thank you must go to Mr George who gritted and cleared pathways on Sunday and throughout the week.

As you know, at St Matthew's we try to stay open whatever the weather! If school is open, children and staff are expected to attend and make every effort to get to school.

A reminder!
