Safer Internet Day

On Monday 25 February, pupils from Nursery to Year 6 took part in St Matthew's first Safer Internet Day. Kicking off with an assembly, all the classes took part in activities in the afternoon with age-appropriate messages about staying safe on-line.

Key themes during the day were for pupils to keep personal information, photos and contact details safe and that if pupils were ever concerned or worried about something they had viewed on the internet, then they should tell a trusted adult immediately.

The day finished with a parent workshop for those adults interested in finding out how to keep their children safe and secure on-line. A great day was had by all: we look forward to the next St Matthew's Safer Internet Day.
