Our Dancers 'Step Up' at the Harlequin Theatre

On the evening of 21st May, two of our fabulous dance groups took part in the annual 'East Surrey Steps Up Dance Festival'. The event was held at the Harlequin Theatre, and provided a chance for our pupils to perform on stage with their costumes, lighting and choreography to share  and celebrate their dance skills and their hard work over the previous months.

Our first group to perform consisted of Year 1, 2 and 3 pupils. Their highly energetic dance to 'Timber', proved a hit with the audience who clapped and cheered throughout!

Our Gifted and Talented dance group, left the theatre in silence as they performed a dance they had choreographed themselves 'Down to the River to Pray' on the theme of slavery. Their meticulous detail and synchronisation of moves left us all with goosebumps!

Many thanks to everyone that gave up their time to support the dancers, particularly Mrs Baillie-Young, Miss Cunnington and Miss Marsh.

We are so proud of the talented pupils we have!
